Book review-Impulses laid bare by @alexia

Theme: The book is a poetry collection featuring poems on various topics.  Each and every one of us have a scar that is represented by Fear, Anxiety, Hope, Anger, sadness, confusion and much more. The book, as the topic states, is an attempt at uncovering all such impulses without concealing them behind a mask of irrelevant emotion. The author has drawn a collection of poems on this topic.

The sketches aka illustrations that were used throughout the book were very good. They gave a very good connection along with the poems, and on the whole, made the reading very smooth.

The forgiveness poem was very good to read. The author emphasizing on forgiveness as means of kindness to one’s own self rather than others was good and interesting. Also drawing the line between expectations and reality was nice.

Speaking of the book cover and title, the cover was very well designed with a good title.

Language and grammar: The language and grammar throughout the book were very good, making it an easy and smooth read. Editing was done well. Poems being short and crisp were easy to read and understand.

On the whole, a short but a great read recommended for people who are into poetic reads full of emotions and feelings!
